Ann (Bilodeau) Gamage

SKOWHEGAN – Ann (Bilodeau) Gamage passed away Nov. 9, 2022 in Skowhegan with family at her bedside.

Ann was born July 27, 1955 in Skowhegan to Priscilla and Wallace Bilodeau.

She attended Skowhegan High School, followed by some college in Vermont. She was married in 1976 to Bruce Gamage. They adopted their first daughter in 1987, followed by their second in 1992. Ann’s daughters enjoyed testing her patience, exercising her sense of humor and admiring her resiliency.

Ann accomplished a lot in 67 years, but her happiest moment was when she transitioned from Mum to“GiGi” upon the arrival of her granddaughter, Lyra. She made the most of her last years with her three girls where they did some of her favorite things, beach days, floating in the pool with a good book, and puns for days.

Ann leaves behind former husband, Bruce Gamage and their daughters Olivia and Maria Gamage; brother, John Bilodeau and his wife Juline, sister, Mary Callan and her husband Richard, brother, Peter Bilodeau and his husband Levant Karayalim; and granddaughter, Lyra Hjort.

She was predeceased by parents Priscilla and Wally; son, Nicklaus Barret Gamage; brother, Paul Bilodeau; and beautiful niece, Ambré Bilodeau.

A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 10, followed by a Celebration of Life in Coburn Park at 1:30 p.m.
