NORRIDGEWOCK – Bette Farley Luther Emerson, 77, passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 28, 2022. Bette was born on June 3, 1945 to Forrest Farley Jr. and Ella Moody Farley of Norridgewock.

Even though Alzheimer’s took her life it never altered her personality. The family would like to thank Beacon Home Care and Hospice for the wonderful care they provided during her final days.

She was predeceased by her parents, Forrest and Ella Farley; her sister, Mary Gebhard; and her first husband, Richard Luther.

Her surviving relatives include husband, Ralph Emerson; siblings Donna Jamieson, Barbara Cadavero, Bob Farley (wife Cheri), and Dick Farley; children Tammy Moody (husband Chris), Debbie Howell, and Rick Luther; grandchildren Alan Moody (wife Brianna), Cody Moody (wife Mona), Jasmine Howell, Camilia Howell, Krysta Luther, and Kyle Luther (wife Shelly); great-grandchildren Richard, Noah, Elizabeth, Ethan, and Mason.

Her celebration of life will be held at the Norridgewock Seventh Day Adventist Church, Upper Main Street on June 3 at 2 p.m. A fellowship gathering will be held, after the service, in the basement of the church for everyone.
