FARMINGDALE — Oak Hill took an early lead before holding on to beat Hall-Dale 8-7 in baseball action Monday.

Trent Drouin had two singles for the Raiders (5-1) while Ethan Vattaso doubled.

Ben Nathan had two singles for the Bulldogs (3-4).

 

LAWRENCE 11, GARDINER 6: Parker Higgins and Hunter Lee each had a double and a single to lead the Bulldogs to the win in Fairfield.

Michael Hamlin added two singles for Lawrence (6-1).

Gavin White doubled for Gardiner (2-4) while Zach Reed and Chase McGrane each had two singles.

 

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 13, MADISON 6: A five-run sixth inning led the Falcons to a win over the Bulldogs in Madison.

Jakob Lapointe had a home run in the seventh inning for Mountain Valley (1-5), and Kaden Paaso and Seneca Jones had three hits each. Bradley Sirois went five innings for the Falcons, striking out seven allowing two runs on four hits.

Xavier Estes and Austin Hay had two hits including a double for Madison (2-5). Estes had two RBIs, and Hay drove in one. Deacon Murray took the loss, allowing three runs on seven hits and striking out four.

SOFTBALL

 

NOKOMIS 12, CONY 1: The Warriors won by 10-plus runs for the sixth time in seven games with a victory in Augusta.

Cam King (double, two singles) and Jean Sawtelle (three singles) had three hits apiece for Nokomis (7-0). Mia Coots earned the win for the Warriors in the circle.

Suri Ramkissoon took the loss for Cony (0-7).

RICHMOND 17, VALLEY 4: Izzy Stewart had a double, three singles and three RBIs to pace the Bobcats to the win in Richmond.

Lila Viselli added three singles and two RBIs for Richmond (6-2) while Jayden Brilliant had a home run.

Valley fell to 4-1.

 

HALL-DALE 17, OAK HILL 1: Jade Graham and Ashlynn Donahue each hit a home run to pace the Bulldogs in Farmingdale.

Rita Benoit added three singles for Hall-Dale (6-0) while Zoe Soule had two singles.

Kelsey Young doubled for Oak Hill (2-4).

 

TELSTAR 31, CARRABEC 4: Morgan Zetts had three hits and six RBIs as the Rebels breezed past the Cobras in North Anson.

Payton Berry had four hits and five RBIs for Telstar (1-3), and Olivia Seames, Makenzie Eliot and Sarah Chase each had three RBIs. Maylyn Hastings had eight strikeouts in the circle while allowing six hits and one walk in the win.

Carrabec fell to 0-7 with the loss.

LEAVITT 16, ERSKINE ACADEMY 3 (5 INNINGS): The Hornets broke out in the second inning with nine runs in the five-inning win in South China.

Sam Deblois and Nola Boutaugh each had a triple and a single for Leavitt (6-1) Lily Chabot and Logan Arsenault, Hailey Cyr each had a double.

Bryanna Barrett had two singles for Erskine (0-7).

 

MT. ABRAM 13, LISBON 3 (6 INNINGS): Abi Wilcox had a single and a triple as the road-runners earned a mercy-rule victory.

Savannah Davis and Sakari Savage doubled for Mt. Abram (2-4) in the victory while Eva Spear had four singles. Adrianna Stinchfield picked up the win in the circle.

Ava Kottman had a triple and two singles in the losing effort for Lisbon (2-1). Amelia Harvey took the loss.

 

GIRLS LACROSSE

 

CAMDEN HILLS 12, CONY 11 (OT): Bella Ward had four goals and an assist to lead the Windjammers.

Lila Hall added three goals for Camden Hills (4-1) while Lucy Cohen had a goal and two assists. Roo Boetsch made 18 saves.

Macy Freeman led Cony (5-2) with four goals and an assist while Abby Morrill and Dinah Wadleigh each had a hat trick. Bella Smith rounded out the scoring for the Rams. Madison Chavarie made 10 saves.
