I will start by saying that the way we sentence the criminals who view images of innocent children being brutalized and raped is inherently inadequate. There have been so many instances in the news lately where these disturbed individuals have received less than two years in prison or county jail.
Crimes with “80,000 images of brutal and savage rape” and “violent and unusual sex acts” against children as young as 4 years old only earns the repulsive former gubernatorial candidate nine months in county jail, 10 years on the SOR, and $5,000 to the organization that tries to help these poor little children that have had their sweet little bodies, minds and spirits irrevocably harmed by these demons for sexual pleasure. He was evaluated as a non repeat offender and pedophile even though he hoarded these images for nearly 20 years. It is truly unconscionable.
I am so disappointed in our judicial system here in Maine. This is a horrible outcome for these precious children that we are here to protect.
May Cutler suffer until his dying day — which I hope will be sooner rather than later.
