EMBDEN – Eleanor June Ketchum, of Embden, passed away on May 6, 2023 at her home in Embden.
Eleanor was born on July 18, 1930 in Bingham, a daughter of Wilbur and Marie (Wentworth) Ketchum. She graduated for Anson Academy Class of 1948.
She work for over 36 years as a machine operator at the Anson Stick Mill in Madison. She lived on the Wentworth Farm in Embden, Eleanor was responsible for heading up the E911 system in the town of Embden in including naming many of the roads, she was also a member of the Embden Planning Board.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents as will as her stepfather, Willard “ Buster “ Cross. She is survived by her cousins, John Wentworth Smith and Stephen Gerard Wentworth, as well as her caregiver, Deana Dutton.
Per her request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service.
