The May Artwalk Gardiner is scheduled for 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, May 19, in artists’ studios, galleries, shops and other venues throughout downtown Gardiner.

All are invited to join the Gardiner creative community for an evening of art and celebration featuring unique works by blooming and established local artists, ranging from painting, printmaking, photography, ceramics, handmade books, jewelry, textiles and sculpture, according to a news release from Danae Lagoy with Artwalk Gardiner.

Participants include Karen Adrienne, Alan Claude Inc., Artdogs, Claire Aslesen, Bateau Brewery, The Blind Pig, John Carnes, Cattywampus Studio, Isabella Zoë Ciolfi, Circling the Square Fine Art Press, Megan Daigle, Matt Demers, Darcy Duda and Anne El-Habre.

Also, Gardiner Food Co-op & Cafe, Gardiner Hardware, Gardiner Public Library, Mike Gent, Goldfinch Creamery, Manda Hard, Chase Heimbach, Pam Hetherly, Jennifer Hickey, Johnson Hall, Indie Stage Music, Scott King, Danae Lagoy, Rick Lang and Amy Lewis.

Organizers for the Gardiner Public Library’s Plant Sale & Silent Auction will be accepting plant donations from 3-7 p.m. at the 152 Water St. library for its Saturday, May 20 event.
