PITTSFIELD — Maranacook pitcher Alexis Michaud out-dueled Maine Central Institute’s Kassie Snowman in a 7-2 softball victory Tuesday.

Maranacook’s is 10-2.

Michaud and Snowman both fired two-hitters, but Michaud prevailed with a nine-strikeout, one-walk effort. Snowman struck out three and walked no one.

Alissa Michaud and Esme Jamison had Maranacook’s hits, with Michaud scoring twice and Jamison driving home two runs.

Hannah Robinson and Snowman had the hits for MCI (6-4). The teams combined for 10 errors.



MONMOUTH ACADEMY 15, LISBON 8: Rileigh Chase, Brooklyn Federico and Riley Smith had three hits apiece as the Mustangs (11-0) remained undefeated with the win at Lisbon.

Shanna Parsons, Grace Levesque and Bella Lyons added two hits each for Monmouth. Federico earned the win in the circle.

Brooke Norman had three hits and Alivia Field two for Lisbon (3-5).


NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 11, RICHMOND 1: Lily Rawnsley pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks as the Panthers (9-0) defeated Richmond (7-3) in five innings at Yarmouth.

Michala Wallace had three of the nine hits for NYA, including a double. The Panthers put it away with a five-run third inning that made it 10-0.
