PITTSFIELD – Bossov Ballet Theatre at Maine Central Institute is set to present “Within a Tear” at 7 p.m. Friday, May 26 and at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, in the institute’s Parks Gym at 295 Main St.

“Within a Tear” is a moving ballet performance that delves into the depths of human emotion and the transformative power of tears. Choreographed and staged by Natalya Getman, this production aims to captivate the audience with its exploration of the truths hidden within one’s tears, according to a news release from Guillermo Franco, program manager, Bossov Ballet Theatre.

“Within a Tear” takes viewers on an emotional journey, unveiling the beauty and resilience that emerges from our darkest moments. This thought-provoking ballet performance draws a parallel between tears and rain, highlighting their shared ability to nourish the soul and bring forth new life.

Through intricate choreography and emotive storytelling, BBT dancers convey the unspoken language of the heart, expressing the depths of the human experience in ways that words alone cannot capture.

Admission to “Within a Tear” is free, with donations accepted at the entrance.

Bossov Ballet Theatre at Maine Central Institute is a performing company and pre-professional ballet school of international acclaim. The program offers students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the study and performance of classical ballet as an integral part of their academic curriculum, allowing them to earn full academic credit for their ballet training.
