Gardiner Area High School has announced its class of 2023 top 10 seniors.

Sydney Dayken, the class valedictorian, is the daughter of Nathan Dayken and Ginger Wallace of Gardiner. Dayken plans to attend the University of Maine and major in biology and minor in French.

Emma Doyon, the class salutatorian, is the daughter of Chris and Maria Doyon of Pittston. Doyon plans to attend UMaine and double major in computer science and English.

Katelyn Nestor, the daughter of Joe and Saresa Nestor of Gardiner, plans to attend the University of Southern Maine and major in music education with a concentration in violin and minor in English.

Cassidy Clark, the daughter of Colin and Jessica Clark of West Gardiner, plans to attend the University of Maine at Machias and major in marine biology.

Shawn Jiminez, the son of Keith and Nicole Jiminez of West Gardiner, plans to attend Columbia University and major in political science and history with a concentration in pre-law.

Wyatt Chadwick, the son of Jason and Kristina Chadwick of West Gardiner, plans to attend the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and major in aeronautical science.

Morgan Millett, the daughter of Maurice and Jackie Millett of West Gardiner, plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington and major in psychology and minoring in creative writing.

Gabrielle Grant, the daughter of Derrick and Sarah Grant of Farmingdale, plans to attend UMaine and major in biology with a pre-med concentration.

Madalyn Wright, the daughter of Helen Wright of Gardiner, plans to attend Boston University and major in elementary education.

Megan Gallagher, the daughter of Ron and Allison Gallagher of Randolph, plans to attend  Kennebec Valley Community College and major in radiology.
