Guests will be welcomed for tours on a walk-in basis during open hours. The Pownalborough Court House is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Old Jail and Chapman Hall House are open from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The association is participating in the Blue Star Museums Program, though which free admission is offered to active duty military personnel and their families this summer during open hours from Armed Forces Day through Labor Day, according to a news release from Shannon Gilmore with the association.

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and participating museums across America. The free admission program is available for those currently serving in the United States Military — Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard as well as members of the Reserves, National Guard, U.S. Public Health Commissioned Corps, NOAA Commissioned Corps — and up to five family members.

The association is a nonprofit organization that provides stewardship for the 1754 Chapman-Hall House, the 1761 Pownalborough Court House, and the 1811 Old Jail and Museum. The sites are open for tours June 3 through Oct. 1.
