Melissa Buzzell, owner of Dog’s Paradise in Detroit, started grooming canines in 1991. She’s owned and operated Dog’s Paradise for 26 years. The business handles all breeds and has a customer base of some 3,000 dogs, according to Buzzell. With three groomers and two bathers working daily, the business handles about 30 dogs a day, Buzzell said.
