SKOWHEGAN – Judith A. Tanner passed away on May 23, 2023, with her three sons by her side. She was born on Sept. 5, 1947 in Skowhegan to the late Ernest and Elaine Roy and was the second of seven daughters.

Judy was a graduate of Skowhegan High School. Her family and friends were very important to her, as were her hobbies of reading, knitting and Sudoku. She worked many jobs before retiring from Hannaford Bros. in 2005 after 20 years of service.

Judy is survived by her three sons – Jeffrey A. Martin and his wife Tracey of Norway, Maine, Christopher J. Martin and his wife Lisa of Stow, Maine and Ryan S. Tanner and his wife Katrina of Bingham, Maine.

Judy is also survived by five sisters – Jayne Bouford of Madison, Maine, Sue Peary of Rouses Point, New York, Kathy Cram of Madison, Maine, Karen Greenleaf of Skowhegan, Maine and Lisa McDowell of Waterville, Maine, along with 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on June 11, 2023, at 11 a.m., at Dan and Scott’s Funeral Home, 445 Waterville Rd, Skowhegan, Maine 04976.
