GORHAM – Barbara left this world Sunday May 21, 2023. She died at home in Gorham at the age of 77. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Born on July 26, 1945 to William and Estelle Cota Hussey. She graduated from Winslow High School in 1963, being an active member of the band.
Went to Grasslands Hospital, graduating in 1964 with an LPN. She married and had four children before moving to Maine. In 2010, retired from Portland Rehab Hospital. She loved gardening, books and trading books.
Survived by daughters Laurel Harris and husband Jeff of Phippsburg, Tracy Daigle and husband Fred of Gorham, sons Christan and Joel Myers of Gorham; grandchildren Abigal Shaffo of Hawaii, Jason Harris of Windham, Jack Harris of San Diego, Calif., Lily Harris of San Diego, Calif., Baily Daigle of Gorham, C. Bridget of Illinois, Van Myers and Archer Meyers of Gorham; two great-grandchildren, George Shaffo of Hawaii and Hudson Harris of Windham. Also survived by her sister, Betty Spaulding and husband, Lee of Winslow; two nieces, Janet Krch and Jill Ball; great-nieces Brittany and Lindsay.
A family celebration of life will be held this summer.
