George L. Dube
SOLON – George L. Dube, 77, of Solon, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2023.
He was born Feb. 2, 1946, in Flagstaff, a son of Henry and Margaret (St. Laurence) Dube. George attended Solon High School and was later in the United States Army.
He loved to hunt and build things out of wood in his workshop. He also enjoyed cooking/baking for his family and friends.
George is survived by his wife, Meredith; daughter, Sue-Ann Dube-Smith, son, Michael Dube, stepson, Troy Gourley; brothers Paul Dube, Dave Dube, Gene Dube, Nelson Dube, and his sister, Mary Grivois.
The family will be having a celebration of life June 24, from 3 to 6 p.m. at his brother Paul’s home at 26 Rocky Rd., Solon, ME 04979
