AUGUSTA – Peggy Pratt, 94, a resident of Winthrop, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Glenridge Nursing Home in Augusta. She was born Sept. 16, 1928, in Weston-Super-Mare, England, the daughter of Albert F. and Mabel (Scott) Marshall. Peggy received her education in the schools of Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset, England.

On Oct. 9, 1945, in Weston-Super-Mare, she married Allan A. Pratt. Mr. Pratt passed away in 1995. Peggy was an inspector at Tex-Tech Industries in North Monmouth for 34 years, retiring in 1992. She enjoyed reading and gardening.

She is survived by two sons, Terry M. Pratt and his wife Arlene Gigac of Fayette and Glynn S. Pratt and his wife Mary of Monmouth, a daughter, Alana A. Currie and her husband David of Winthrop; four grandchildren, Shawn Currie and his wife Lori, Kateri Pratt and her husband Brad, Steven Pratt and his wife Kiersten and T.J. O’Neill; great-grandson, Alec L. Currie.

Interment will be held 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 15 at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Civic Center, Augusta, Maine. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 at her daughter’s home at 29 Route 41, Winthrop, Maine.
