Helen Thompson School fifth graders recently hosted a Book Launch to celebrate the publication of their short stories. The project was the brainchild of West Gardiner resident, horror author and veteran Joshua Marsella, who collected and lightly edited the stories, according to a news release from Juliet Shagoury, school librarian and education technician III.

“I’m An Author: A Children’s Anthology,” is currently available in paperback and Kindle versions on Amazon. All proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the Helen Thompson School library.
