East Madison Days 2023, a major fundraiser for the town’s grange and historical association, is set for Friday to Sunday, July 14-16.
July 14’s events, taking place at the East Madison Grange on Grange Road, includes an art show opening reception at 6:30 p.m. and a jazz concert with Brian Richmond and friends from 7-9 p.m.
On July 15, the art show will be held at the Grange from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., a luncheon is planned from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
At the town’s historical building and fire station, 1108 East Madison Road, will be a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a silent auction beginning at 10 a.m., and an antiques appraisal fair with Lee Glynn from 1-4 p.m.
July 16 offers a bird walk at Jacobs’ Pines with Ann Dorney from 7:30-9 a.m. Meet at the parking area on Lower Mills Road.
A hot dog/dynamite lunch runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station.
Silent auction items will be available for bids from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Auction winners will be announced at 1:30 p.m.
