John Phillip Crocker Sr.

RANDOLPH – John Phillip Crocker, Sr., 64, of Randolph, passed away suddenly Friday July 7, 2023. John was born Dec. 21, 1958, in Gardiner, ME to Geraldine (Thibeau)Crocker and Bertrand Crocker.

John attended schools in Gardiner, and he graduated from Gardiner High School in 1977 John was hired at Bath Iron Works on June 1, 1981. John was a dedicatedemployee for 42 years and he might have been known as a bit of a social butterfly, and he had so many great friends and good times with the BIW family.

John met his wife of 32 years Robin in 1989 at BIW. Together they made their life together in Randolph. John had two sons from a previous marriage, John P Crocker Jr and Ryan M Crocker. They bought a home and settled in Randolph. They married in 1991 and in 1993 they had a son together Zachary T Crocker.

John was content just hanging at home as well as boating, snowmobiling with friends and spending time up at his mom’s house with family or you could find him at Zac’s in the garage and most recently spending time with light of his life his 1st grandson Brooks.

John was predeceased by his father Bertrand, his brothers William Crocker of Randolph and David Crocker of Virginia Beach and also his mother Geraldine Crocker Moody of Randolph.

John is survived by his wife Robin sons John “Jack” Crocker, Ryan Crocker and Kate of Gardiner, Zachary Crocker and wife Emily Crocker his grandson Brooks of Chelsea. His sister-in-law Sheila Crocker of Randolph and sister Marie Tarrio of Augusta. He is also survived by many family members, nieces, nephews and great friends.

A special thanks to Tom Bartol, The Alfond Center for Cancer Care as well as Kelly, Tweet, Debbie and Amber and all of the many friends of our children, and the Gardiner EMT Unit and police officer who arrived so fast.

There will be a graveside service at Oak Grove Cemetery, Plummer Street, Gardiner, Maine on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 3:30 PM. Immediately following John’s graveside service there will be a Celebration of his life at the Lions Club, 25 Lions Street, Gardiner Maine.
