FARMINGTON — United Way of the Tri-Valley Area is accepting backpack applications for this fall.
Families who live or attend school in Franklin County, Livermore or Livermore Falls and need help getting children ready for school should visit uwtva.org to check the eligibility guidelines and complete an application.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday, Aug. 9.
Packs for Progress are sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank, The Dugout Bar and Grill, Skowhegan Savings Bank, Poland Spring Natural Spring Water, Hilltop Collision Center, Farmington, Maine Rotary Club and L.L.Bean.
