Throughout her 94 years, she enlightened the lives of those around her with her radiant spirit and ceaseless dedication to her loved ones.

Margie, a stalwart of her community, graduated from Skowhegan Area High School in 1946 and later married in 1948, in the same charming town she was born and raised in. As a housewife, Margie was the heartbeat of her home. Her most cherished role was being an at-home mother, always putting her children first and setting an exemplary standard day in and day out. Her hobbies showcased her creative side and her love for the simple pleasures of life. An avid knitter, a skilled painter, a jewelry maker, a crossword puzzle enthusiast, and a gifted baker, Margie was a woman of many talents. Her homemade baked goods were the highlight of every family gathering, and her hand-knitted creations carry her warmth to this day.

Margie is survived by her loving children, Gloria (Wayne Geyer) Gilman, Bonnie (Richard) Arsenault, Elwin (Melissa) Thibault, and Lisa (Michael) Hachey. She was a cherished sister to Corrine Keast and Lorraine Whitney, who preceded her in death. Her memory will forever be treasured by her eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Margie is predeceased by her beloved husband, Elwin Thibault, and grandson, Ryan Gilman. She is also preceded in death by her parents, George and Alvina Huard.
