The Pittsfield Community Festival, hosted by the Pittsfield Police, is set for 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, rain or shine, in Manson Park, 51 Peltoma Ave.

Friends and family can experience free activities, food and entertainment.

Activities for all ages include a dunk tank, ATV car rides, 501 Star Wars characters, a petting zoo, Home Depot’s building for kids, Hancock Lumber’s plant a tree, military trucks, bounce houses, disc jockey, cornhole, inflatable basketball half court, Smokey the Bear, hamburgers prepared by the Pittsfield Police Grill Masters, hot dogs, popcorn, flavored ice scoops, the Pepsi Hydration Center and Dysart giveaways, according to a news release from the department.
