Noah David Brochu

FARMINGTON – Noah David Brochu, 26, a resident of Winthrop, died suddenly in a car accident on Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2023. He was born April 17, 1997, in Farmington, Maine, the son of Heidi R. Allen. He was raised by his single mother, with the support of family, in Fayette, and later moved to Winthrop, Maine. He attended the schools of these towns and lived much of his life in the surrounding area. Noah loved to cook, especially for those he loved. He served as a cook in his first few jobs and then eventually transitioned to work at Bath Iron Works. Noah always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and the desire to forge his own path to build the life he wanted. He loved exploring philosophies and religions of other cultures and always questioned the status quo. Noah found solace in spending time outdoors enjoying skateboarding, snowboarding, kayaking, and gaming. He was always busy making things and creating collections of rocks and plants. He loved creating art and music – from painting and drawing, to writing and recording his own songs. Above all else, he valued his friends and family, doing everything he could to help others out. He was wonderful around children and had a knack for making everyone smile. Noah is survived by his mother Heidi Allen of Augusta, his older brother Alex and Corena Brochu, and their son, Noah’s nephew, Archer Brochu. He will be dearly missed by his youngest brother Elijah Ruby of Winthrop, and his extended family. Also, his grandparents: Brenda Allen and Greg McDonald of Fayette, and David and Theresa Allen of Belgrade; not to mention several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
