WINTHROP – Lori A. Jewell passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Lori was born in Augusta, on Oct. 9, 1970. She was the daughter of Paul “Chuck” Jewell and Barbara (Garceau) Jewell of Manchester. She was a graduate of Cony High School class of 1988. After High School Lori attended beauty school then went on to work for Key Bank, first in Belgrade and then in Portland. She also went on to further her education, studying to be a Medical Assistant at Andover College and graduated from Central Maine Community College.

For the past several years she worked as a Health Care Coordinator at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Lori was a resident of Winthrop for the past 12 years.

Lori had a great personality, a beautiful smile and could be quite comical. She enjoyed her time with family and friends, boat rides and swimming on Maranacook lake as well as Lower Narrows in Winthrop. She also enjoyed four-wheeler rides, snowmobiling and spending time at camp with family and friends.

In addition to her parents Lori is survived by her son Logan Edwards of Winthrop, her brother David Jewell and his wife Andrea of Augusta and three nieces: Amanda, Olivia and Madison Jewell.
