Kelvin Aaron Fischer

SKOWHEGAN – Kelvin Aaron Fischer, 61, of Skowhegan, passed away on Aug. 10, 2023, in his hometown. Born on Sept. 29, 1961, in Skowhegan, Kelvin was a beloved member of his community.

Kelvin was a fun-loving man who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He had a passion for boat rides, working on cars, and listening to music, particularly oldies, country, and rock and roll. When he went dancing, Kelvin would often showcase his limbo skills, adding an extra element of entertainment to the night.

Kelvin is survived by his sisters Sue Quimby, Christine Fischer, and Debra Fischer; as well as numerous nieces, nephews; great-nieces, great-nephews; and even great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank E. Fischer Sr., his mother, Mary E. Lundin; his brother, Frank E. Fischer Jr.; and his companion and love of his life, Maxine May Cross.

Kelvin attended Skowhegan High School and later went on to work for many years at Eaton Mountain Ski Area. Kelvin also worked at Sonoco and North Anson Reel.

A private graveside funeral service will be announced at a later date to honor Kelvin’s life. During this time, his loved ones will come together to pay their respects and celebrate the memories they shared with him.

Kelvin Aaron Fischer will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His vibrant personality, love for life, and cherished relationships will be remembered fondly. May he rest in peace.
