CLINTON — Residents may temporarily see discolored water coming out of their faucets, but should not be concerned, the Clinton Fire Department warned on Saturday.
Routine maintenance on fire hydrants may cause some residents’ water to appear discolored, officials said in a social media post. While residents should never drink discolored water, the post says the water poses no threat and should clear out after letting the faucet run.
Officials from the Clinton Fire Department could not immediately be reached for comment.
