It’s fair season in Maine!  And there’s certainly plenty of them to choose from.  There’s no shortage of things to check out while there, from the livestock to the rides, races, and performances. And let’s not forget that mouthwatering aroma of fried dough and french fries… there’s really something for everyone.

The Windsor Fair begins this Sunday and runs through Labor Day. The Skowhegan Fair, the oldest continuing agricultural fair in the nation, seemed like another success.  And that’s two of the many statewide.

So, have you gone to a fair this year?  Or are you still planning on going to one?  Tell us which one you’ve gone to.  Or, did you stay home this year and saved your money due to the economic struggles crippling us nationwide? Tell us in the poll and comments below.
