Elm City Bridge Club
Karen Torrey and Jeannie Reillig finished first at the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville during the Aug. 29 duplicate bridge session.
Ed and Joyce Rushton came in second, and Sylvia Palmer and Jessie Gunther third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Aug. 30 were Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman. Nancy Lenfest and Ken Harvey placed second; Jean Bird and Maureen Brochu placed third.
The winners for Aug. 31 were Fred and Lorrie Letourneau. Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami placed second; Nancy Lenfest and Tony Frates finished third.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who want to play but need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
