WINDSOR, N.C. – Christopher William Partridge, formerly of Pittston, died on March 31, 2023 in Windsor, N.C., at the age of 40.

Chris graduated from Gardiner in 2002. He was a proud defensive end for the Tigers as well as wrestling state champion. Chris held many different jobs, but from the age of 16 he never swayed from his love of breeding, raising, and showing the American Pitbull Terrier. He traveled all over the United States showing his dogs and was proud to return home with a trophy and ribbons to show his dad. During his travels, Chris treated everyone he met like an old friend. The man never met a stranger. Chris battled drug addiction that he battles no more.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Amanda Waltson; sons Issac Parker (companion Sadie Johnson) of Bridgton and Micca Partridge of Standish; parents Lynne (Partridge) and William Stephens of Pittston; brother Adam Partridge (companion Jordan Thompson) of Augusta; nephew Aiden Partridge of Windsor; grandmother Marilyn Stephens of Pittston; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by grandmothers Cleo Mansir and Marie Belanger as well as grandfather Theodore Stephens.

Chris was a storyteller, so please come share your stories at a celebration of his life Saturday, Sept. 23 at the Pittston Fair Grounds, 2 – 4 p.m. Private burial will occur at a later date.
