Ann Marie Elliott

AUGUSTA – Ann Marie Elliott, 66, passed away at the Androscoggin Hospice House Sept. 12, 2023 while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 29, 1957, a daughter of Roger and Laurette (Theriault) Quirion and graduated from Cony High School in the class of 1976. On May 13, 1978, she married Harold F. Elliott Jr., and they started a family, raising daughters Krista and Katie. While her daughters were young, Ann provided childcare in her home. She later became employed at the Children’s Center in Augusta where her calm demeanor was appreciated.

The most important piece of Ann was her family. Ann enjoyed the simple things in life and was the happiest while spending time with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a good listener with a gentle disposition.

Ann was predeceased by her father; and her brothers Paul Quirion and Donald Quirion.

She is lovingly survived by her husband of 45 years, Harold “Junior” F. Elliott Jr.; daughters Krista Smith and her husband Shane, and Katie Ryerson and her husband Kyle; grandchildren, Grace Ryerson, Trent Smith, Luke Ryerson, and Emersyn Smith; her mother, Laurette Minoty; siblings Therese Rasmussen and her husband David, Pamela Dumas and her husband Patrick, and Patricia Morais; beloved sister-in-law, Elizabeth Elliott; and many nieces and nephews.

No visiting hours are being held. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 75 Northern Ave., Augusta, ME 04330. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery on Townsend Road in Augusta. Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME 04330.
