People desiring to run for the Office of District Supervisor for the Kennebec County Soil and Water Conservation District can obtain papers by mailing the district office at 2305 N. Belfast Ave., Augusta, ME 04330, or calling 207-622-7847, ext. 3 or 207-480-3927.
Nomination papers must be received by the district office no later than Friday, Oct. 27, according to a news release from Dale Finseth with the district.
Voting for candidates will occur in November. Those wishing to vote in the election of district supervisors must contact the district in order to receive a ballot to vote.
Candidates must be resident-registered voters residing within the boundaries of the Kennebec County Soil and Water Conservation District. All registered voters within the boundaries of the Kennebec County Soil and Water Conservation District are eligible to vote.
