Charles T. Caplin
EMBDEN – Charles T. Caplin, 53, of Embden, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023 at his home in Embden.
Charles was born in Skowhegan Jan. 26, 1970, the son of Thomas Caplin and Geraldine Downs. He was educated in local schools and graduated 1988 in Bingham. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and hanging out with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Caplin; his grandmother, Louise Downs, grandfather, Henry Downs; and his uncles James and Eugene Downs.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Jami (Caplin) McCoy and her husband Andrew; his grandson, Maxx Caplin and granddaughter, Lillyanna McCoy of Solon; his mother, Geraldine Downs and husband Joseph Jenks; brothers Chad and Paul Caplin; aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews; and many, many cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. in Pierce Cemetery in Solon.
