Patricia Ann Harris

SKOWHEGAN – Patricia Ann Harris, 81, passed away at Redington Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, with family by her side. She was born on Dec. 22, 1941, in Staten Island, N.Y. She was one of four children born to the late Theresa and John Kenney. She attended Tottenville High School and graduated in 1959.

She worked as a secretary after high school taking the ferry to NYC for the next year. She then met and married the love of her life, Robert Harris on Oct. 6, 1967, in New Jersey. They moved and settled in Skowhegan in 1971. They helped establish Trinity Evangelical Free Church where they were involved for many years. Later they enjoyed years of fellowship at Crossroads Bible Church. Pat enjoyed building her cleaning business which created community friendships. Tending to her flowers was one of her joys as well as taking time to volunteer with Road to Recovery for cancer patients.

Patricia will be remembered for her strong, fun-loving, outspoken personality. She was a model in how she cared and sacrificed in meeting her own husband’s needs through his journey with cancer. Her investment and support of her loved ones and dear friends is something that will live on. She was charitable, loved fiercely and was quick to laugh. Her greatest memories were shopping with her daughters, lunches with her friends and special activities with her grandkids.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband; and sister, Marge Hill.

She is survived by her brother, John Kenney, sister, Rosemarie Schron; her daughters Beth Harris, Michelle Warren and husband Robin, Jill Dow and husband Derick; grandchildren, Megan Sperry, Kati Volante and her husband Todd, Chelsea Davies and husband Andrew, Emma Heikkinen and husband Blaine, Jesse Warren and wife Brianna, Anna, Rachel and Andrew Warren, Cade, Ethan, Hailey and Nathan Dow; great-grandchildren, Nora and Ava, Aiden and Wolfgang.
