WINSLOW — Four different players scored as Winslow picked up its first win of the season with a 4-0 shutout of Lincoln Academy in field hockey action Monday.

Hannah Delile, Dalana Ferran, Hannah Daigneault and Kate Nichols each had a goal for the Black Raiders (1-6). Izzy Giguere added an assist while Dom Giroux-Pare made one save.

Livey Nolan stopped 10 shots for the Eagles (1-8).

 

HALL-DALE 2, OAK HILL 0: Faith McDougal and Makayla Norton each scored goals to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC victory in Farmingdale.

Delanie MacDonald and McDougal each had assists for Hall-Dale (5-2).

Jade Graham had four saves for Hall-Dale while Sierra Lane had 15 for Oak Hill (2-4-1).

 

GIRLS SOCCER

 

MT. BLUE 2, MT. ABRAM 0: An Alissa Butterfield throw-in got the ball rolling for the Cougars in a cross-conference road win in Salem Township.

Butterfield’s first-half throw-in led to Natalee Orr’s opening goal midway through the frame for Mt. Blue (2-4-0). Lilla Simpson doubled the Cougars’ lead midway through the second half off an assist Gracie Ross.

Destiny Hensley made two saves for Mt. Blue, while Jany Pepin stopped 12 shots for Mt. Abram (2-5-0).

 

MARANACOOK 6, OAK HILL 0: Natalie Mohlar scored a pair of goals to help lead the Black Bears to the win in Wales.

Stella Stewart, Phoebe Bell, Evelyn Stevenson and Hope Webb also scored for Maranacook (7-0-0), which led 2-0 at half.

Devyn Eliasen and Ava Pare combined to make three saves for the Black Bears. MacKenzie Vattaso made 14 saves for Oak Hill (1-5-0).

MONMOUTH/WINTHROP 5, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Abigail St. Clair scored consecutive goals in the second half to help the Mustangs pull away in Monmouth.

Freshman Hayli Paradis gave Monmouth/Winthrop (6-2-0) a 1-0 lead in the first half that stood until St. Clair’s back-to-back tallies. Riley Smith and Audrey Langlois also scored second-half goals. Annabelle Carlton notched two assists and Tarynn Keleher added another.

June Foyt made six saves for the Mustangs, and Kloee Pelletier pulled in seven for Mountain Valley (3-5-0).

 

BOYS SOCCER

 

MT. ABRAM 2, MT. BLUE 1: Killian Pillsbury had a goal and an assist in the Roadrunners’ victory in Farmington.

He scored in the first half, along with assisting Sam Cockerhan to put Mt. Abram (8-0-0) up 2-0. Logan Dube stopped seven shots in the victory.

Nate Zeliger scored in the second half for Mt. Blue (3-3-1), with Finley Ward recording the assist. Chase Ranger made eight saves.
