The Canton Historical Society plans to a history hour and spaghetti dinner on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the society’s 25 Turner St. building.

These events are an opportunity to spend the afternoon with members and friends of the society, hear about four families from Canton’s past, and have dinner and dessert, according to a news release from Liz Rothrock with the society.

The free history hour program starts at 3 p.m. The spaghetti dinner will be held from 4-6 p.m. Suggested dinner donations are $5 for adults and $3 for children.

Doors open at 2:45 p.m. The venue is handicap accessible.

The society is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization devoted to the preservation and celebration of Canton’s heritage and history.
