The Maine Cheese Guild’s 2023 Open Creamery Day is set for Sunday, Oct. 8.
Each of the creameries will be available for visits from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“This group of cheese makers is exceptional and produces many types of delicious cheeses, all of artisanal quality. This is your opportunity to meet and talk with the cheese makers and visiting these local farms makes a great family activity for all ages. You may even see a goat or two or cows on your visit,” said Ron Dyer, executive director of the Sidney-based Maine Cheese Guild, in a news release.
