Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area and Hospice Volunteers of Kennebec Valley plan to offer a collaborative 25-hour volunteer training.
The training is for those interested in non-medical comfort care for individuals and family members in hospice, as well as those interested in facilitating adult bereavement support groups, according to a news release from Jillian Roy with the Waterville nonprofit.
The training will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Oct. 18 and 25, Nov. 1, 8, 15 and 29, and Dec. 6 and 13 at the Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area Community Center, 304 Main St. in Waterville.
