Gayle Foulkes
SKOWHEGAN – Gayle Foulkes, 77, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at Cedar Ridge Center with her family by her side after a brief battle with cancer. Gayle was born on March 4, 1946, to James and Una (Spencer) Collins in Hartford, Connecticut.
“Lady Gayle” spent the last 50-plus years as a beautician doing hair for her many clients, whom she thought of as family. Gayle and her husband John (Jack) enjoyed being involved with the Shriners and Moose Alley ATV club.
Gayle was predeceased by her husband John Foulkes and also both her parents.
Gayle is survived by her daughter Kim Greenleaf of Cornville, son Cory Greenleaf and his wife Jolene of Wilton, grandchildren, Cody Williamson of Madison, and Connor and Jocelyn Greenleaf of Wilton, as well as well as two great-grandchildren, Colton and Carter Williamson of Madison.
A special thank you to the RFGH Oncology Department. Mom always looked forward to seeing “her girls”.
There will be a graveside service at Southside Cemetery on Saturday October 21, at noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to RFGH Oncology Department.
