Modern Woodmen of America members in Waterville/Oakland recently purchased and collected pool flotation noodles for the Alfond Youth and Community Center’s therapy pool in Waterville.

The project, which took place on Sept. 25 at local and online merchants, benefited the center’s Aquatics Program.

Coordinated by local Modern Woodmen members, the fraternal financial services organization’s Summit chapters, chapters and youth service clubs provide opportunities for members to take part in social and educational activities and volunteer projects to meet local needs.
