Zachary T. Noble

PITTSFIELD – Zachary T. Noble, 27, died on Oct. 17, 2023, of a cardiac event while exercising on the track at MCI in Pittsfield.

Zach was born on March 8, 1996, in Waterville, the son of Teresa (Cook) Noble and Scott Noble. He graduated from MCI with the class of 2015 and was employed with the Kennebec Water District as a distribution technician. He received his EMT certification this year from KVCC, of which he was very proud. His passion was emergency response and he volunteered countless hours on the Pittsfield Fire Department and the Unity Ambulance Corporation.

Zach was a gentle giant. He worked hard and was very supportive in the communities he served. He loved adventures, enjoyed all outdoor activities, and was very athletic. He will be missed and never forgotten.

He is survived by his mother, Teresa Noble and companion Charlie Baker Jr; his father, Scott Noble and wife Karen; his brother, Hunter Noble; stepbrothers: Jacob Baker and Joshua Baker; Charlie’s children: Charles Baker III and Kami Howe; grandmother, Anna Good; grandparents, Bruce and Darlene Cook; special cousin and best friend, Morgan Mitchell; close uncle and aunt, Paul and Lisa Madore; special friends, Ricky and Susie Rollman; Chief Bernard Williams and the Pittsfield Fire Department, who were more like family and gave him guidance and training; Bruce Cook, former Chief (and the grandfather who inspired him as a young child to pursue EMS) and the Unity Ambulance Corp; his beloved dog, Dozer; and many extended family members and close friends.

He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Dennis Noble and Dale Good; and his uncle, Todd Noble.

Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at the Shorey-Nichols Funeral Home, 191 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield. A fireman’s funeral will be held at noon, Saturday, October 28, at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Gilbert officiating. A last ride and committal will follow at the Village Cemetery, Peltoma Ave, Pittsfield.
