As vice president of the Hallowell Pride Alliance, it is my privilege to endorse Hannah Barry for Ward 2 city councilor.
They are a person who both celebrates the best our community has to offer, and challenges us to think and act on the disparities. As an organization, we’re proud to see Barry to speak up for all marginalized and disadvantaged people. They’re a fierce advocate for equity, inclusion, accessibility, LGBTQ+ rights, and anti-racism.
As a renter living downtown they bring an important voice to Hallowell’s City Council. Barry brings energy, thoughtfulness, compassion and a broad view to everything they do. Barry’s willingness to listen to the lived experiences of those in their community and strategize real action is an incredible strength.
We are proud to endorse Hannah Barry for city councilor of Ward 2. Vote to bring a new voice to Hallowell’s City Council on Nov. 7.
