AUGUSTA – Dean Alan Young passed on Oct. 23, 2023, after a long illness. Born Sept. 21, 1962, in Gardiner, to Vernon and Delores Young. He married Margaret on Dec. 23, 1990. Dean was a marine blood worm digger, loved the outdoors; family and spending time with them.

Dean leaves behind his wife Margaret; stepdaughters Lisa Rolfe and husband Dan and Tory Tracy; stepson Raymond Tracy and wife Nancy; parents Jack and Delores Young; sisters Susan Bowie and husband Darrell and Rhonda James and husband David; brother Cary Young and partner Lynne McKeen; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will not be a service per Dean’s request. There will be a celebration of life, details will be on Facebook once confirmed.

Arrangements are under the care of Kincer Funeral Home, 130 Pleasant St., Richmond, ME 04357.

Checks can be written to the VAVS or we will accept donations at celebration of Life to take over to the Veterans’ Affairs
