Through reading letters to the editor in my daily read of the KJ, I learned that Jane Maguire-Tyce is running for the school board in Augusta. The letter from William Clardy moved me to add an exclamation mark to his support.
I first met Jane around 2005 when she came to my insurance agency looking for home, auto and life insurance. Generally, as an agent, I ask all the questions and clients supply the answers. Not so with Jane. I was put through my paces and my knowledge tested, evaluated and challenged. All ended well and Jane and her family are still clients.
I strongly believe that Jane’s questioning and thoughtful demeanor can only benefit the people of Augusta by leaving no unexamined issues when it comes to the education of their children.
