DAMARISCOTTA — River Arts Gallery will be filling its rooms with original art and fine craft for a special holiday year-end show. All artists are invited to submit their work in person until the entry deadline by 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18. This non-juried show does not have a theme or size limit, yet it does have specific submission guidelines.
“Celebration” will ensure a variety of pieces and prices for the gift-giving season. The show runs from Nov. 21 through Dec. 30.
All original art including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, multimedia, pastel, glass, wood, collage and more will be accepted for this seasonal exhibition. For details for specific rules of entry, visit riverartsme.org.
Artwork can be dropped off beginning Wednesday, Nov. 1. Entry and membership forms are available in the gallery or can be downloaded from the website.
Works must meet gallery guidelines for presentation. Entries must be gallery ready and clean. Wall pieces must be securely wired with picture wire. No wet paint is allowed. All work is subject to management approval.
