FARMINGDALE – Mona J. Pratt, 89, died unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 3, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Lewiston on Aug. 31, 1934, a daughter of the late Carl T. and Rose L. (Crockett) Carter.

Mrs. Pratt was a high school graduate and attended West Gardiner Baptist Church. She had been employed for many years at the Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School in South Easton, Mass.

Mrs. Pratt was predeceased by her first husband, Edward M. Keefer, Sr., her second husband, James Pratt; a son, Asa E. Keefer, two daughters-in-law, Kathy Keefer and Jeannette Keefer; her brother, Joseph Levesque and her two sisters, Pearl Murphy and Susie Rollins.

She is survived by three sons, Edward M. Keefer, Jr., Steven M. Keefer and David A. Keefer all of Farmingdale, a daughter, Terri L. Weeks of Farmingdale, a daughter-in-law, Diane Keefer of Farmingdale; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be with family and close friends on Monday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
