AUGUSTA – Richard H. Claudio, 79, of Augusta, died on Nov. 7, 2023 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice.

He was born on Jan. 18, 1944 from Clementina (Costa) Nardo and Joseph Claudio of Boston, Mass.

He worked many years as an Autobody Technician for the Ford Motor Co. and lastly as a Resident Care Manager for the Walter E. Fernald School in Waltham, Mass.

He was a member of the Kennebec Valley Model Aviators R/C Club and Starmaker Online Karaoke with over 4000 followers. He enjoyed singing and had his own Karaoke business as Big Rich.

He was predeceased by his three wives, Maria (Fazzolari) divorced, Crystal (Hutchinson) widowed, and Diane James, divorced.

He is survived by three daughters, Tracy Claudio of Chelmsford Mass., Jennifer James of Auburn, and Patricia Bailey of Newport, R.I. and son, Richard H. Claudio II of Waterville. He had one brother, Robert Parise of Reading, Mass. He was also blessed with two grandsons, Michael and Hunter Claudio of Waterville.

Services will be held privately and he will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, Mass.
