ROCKPORT – Margaret “Peg” Mary Baudo Yeaton Beedy passed away on Oct. 21, 2023, one week before her 90th birthday, at Sussman House hospice care, Rockport, with her daughter at her side.

She was born Oct. 28, 1933,

in Augusta, daughter of Lottie Haskell Baudo and Jack Baudo. She was predeceased by husband, Frederick Yeaton, sister, Grace Hubley and brother, Robert Baudo.

She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her daughter Stacie, sister Rose Hinckley; nieces Nell Hurwitz, Candice Hinckley, Kimberlee Barnett, Kelli Hess, Mary Baudo and nephew Nate Baudo who loved her and she them and their immediate families.

She was employed by Central Maine Power Company for 22 years and retired in 1991. Also, previously employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire. She was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader while living in California and Virginia. She especially enjoyed years residing in Bishop, Calif. She helped at local schools that her daughter attended. Also she made meaningful contributions to her community through Literacy Volunteers, Kennebec Historical Society, American Diabetes Association and thousands of hours at Maine General Medical Center.

There will be no service according to her wishes.. Arrangements were handled by Direct Cremation of Maine. There will be a private family gathering to honor her at a future date.
