Bridge clubs list recent winners

Elm City Bridge Club

The Elm City Duplicate bridge resumed Dec. 12. Ken Harbvey and Narasha Rosenbaum tied with Su Morrison and Gabrielle Rice for first place. Ed and Joyce Rushton finished third.

Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club

The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Dec. 6 were Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinkley.

Jean Bird and Ken Harvey placed second; Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman placed third.

The winners for Dec. 7 were Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami.

Mitnik and Deb Gardner placed second; Glenn Angell and Dennis Purington placed third.

The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.

Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
