As I travel in Lewiston and Augusta, I am continually frustrated as I wait for a red light to turn green while there is absolutely no traffic crossing or turning in front of me. Sometimes a minute or two passes.
Why isn’t some of this Green New Deal money used to develop and place much smarter traffic light sensors to improve traffic flow and efficiency? I can’t imagine across the country how much fuel is presently wasted with needless accompanying carbon emissions.
