TURNER – Joline G. Landry, 83 of Turner, passed away on Dec. 31, 2023, at home. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on Feb. 10, 1940, the daughter of Silva and Simonne Brousseau of Lewiston, Maine.
Joline graduated from Lewiston High School in 1958 and later in life continued her education at the University of Maine in Lewiston.
On Sept. 5, 1959, she married Raymond A. Landry of Brunswick, Maine. Joline worked for many years at Central Maine Medical Center and later at St. Maryās Regional Medical Center in the finance office for 32 years and retired in 2009. Joline enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling and camping with family. She also enjoyed several cruises with her husband. She was an avid reader and belonged to a wonderful book club in Greene, Maine. She also hosted her dear wonderful card playing friends every week for the past eight years. She met with long time coworkers for lunch and trips. She also belonged to the Pine Tree Gypsy camping club, New Auburn Seniors, and Robin Dow Seniors.
She is survived by her son Stephen and wife Jane of Augusta, daughter Michelle and her husband Michael Dumais of Auburn, sister Lorraine Hart of Crystal River, Florida, her four grandchildren ,Rachael Landry of Augusta, Katie Colasante and husband Billy of Lewiston, Bryson Dumais of Auburn and Jillian Dumais of Auburn, one great grandchild Andrew Colasante of Lewiston, her two special nephews, Chris Pellerin of Georgia and Scott Pellerin of Kentucky and many more nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Joline was predeceased by her husband Raymond, infant son Raymond Jr. and brothers Tony, Richard, Robert and Roland Brousseau.
Services will be held on Jan. 8, 2024, at Funeral Alternatives on 25 Tampa St., Lewiston. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m., followed by a service at 1 p.m.
