Games of the Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Dec. 27 were Ken Harvey and Dennis Purington. Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman placed second, and Pat Damon and Dan Townsend placed third.
The winners for Dec. 28 were Fred and Lorrie Letourneau. Mitnik and Deb Gardner placed second, and Sharron Hinkley and Harvey placed third.
The winners for Jan. 3 were Damon and Townsend. Fred Letourneau and Nancy Lindgren placed second, Harvey and Toby Frey placed third.
The winners for Jan. 4 were Fred Letourneau and Sharon Hinckley. Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami placed second, and Marilyn Ware and Martha Morrill placed third.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
